Beautifying Oils

Hi Dolls,

I hope you all well?

I’m slowly getting back on track with my blog schedule, I’m very thankful for my readers.

So as a beauty blogger I get excited about buying so many beauty related products including skin care, make up, hair care and nail products! Therefore, today’s post is going to be about some great hair care products I’ve been using. YAY!

I currently have my natural hair out, no weave for about 3months now! I like doing that so my hair can breathe, plus it’s what I call responsible weaving…Lol!

My first ever job was in a hairdresser on Westbourne Groove in London, where I discovered Kerastese, by L’Oreal. Using the products on myself and on clients in the past, has given me the opportunity to really understand what each product does and what range should be used for different hair types. I’m a fan of Kerastese, I’ve recently been using the ‘Elixir Ultime’ range, my hair is thick and dry so this range is great for me, because each product is infused with different beautifying oils and it is for all thick hair types. So here is my list of products I use on my hair in the exact order I’d normally use it!

Metamorph’ oil Preparatory oil balm has a gel-like texture, which turns milky when water is applied. So I normally apply this on dry hair, combs through it and then add a little water before massaging till it lathers, then I rinse it out.

Shampoo – packed with a unique combination of coriander, coconut and Shea butter oils.

Beautifying oils (corn germ, camellia, argan and pracaxi oils) masque, is for all hair types! It’s a treatment, so I apply it from roots to ends and leave it in for 5 to 10 minutes in a shower cap. I then use my hair dryer to heat it up for a deep conditioning treatment.

Fluidissime – complete anti-frizz care and heat protection.

Solid serum with 15 beautifying oils – I use this to polish my blow dry.

I hope you dolls enjoyed this post, looking forward to see your favourite products. Please feel to comment or ask questions.

Stay beautiful inside and out. X

The Festive Season

Hi Guys and Dolls,😃

I would like to wish you all a Happy Christmas and Happy New Year! May 2016 be a great new beginning filled  with positivity, prosperity, happiness and good health.

As we are about to enter the New Year, here’s my top tips for New Year’s Eve celebrations;

1. Keep the glitter to a minimum, either your nails or eyeshadow! Don’t over do it!

2. Go for dark lip colour, berry colours and purples. Make sure you choose the right hues for your complexion.

3. Focus on one part of the face, either your eyes, lips or brows. This will give your look a sophicated touch.

Enter the New Year with style and clear state of mind. Don’t drink too much. Eat, pace your drinks, drink water in between rounds – best way to avoid hangovers! And drink a glass of water before bed, trust me it works. I’ve learned over the years how you spend New Year’s Eve determines what kind of year the next year is going to be. Happy New year and stay beautiful inside and out. 😘 🎉🎊 Christelle

New Season 2015 Make Up Trends

Hi Beauties :-),

Well summer is nearly over the fresh-faced beauty and loose waves, had a good run! It is time for the new season, the make up trends for autumn and winter has a grown up take. The lip gloss is back and the make up move towards more luxurious, expensive looks. It’s no secret that autumn is my favourite season, the sweaters, long coats and the colour of the leaves changing. Therefore I thought id post a few of my favourite trends for the new season.

  1. The sophisticated look focuses on perfected skin, slightly rosy cheeks and subtle shading combined to create a rich groomed appearance.
  2. Lashes create that clean blunt look, layering mascara to create doll like eyes. My favourite so far.
  3. The return of the lip gloss, high shine pouts were spotted on models in Fendi, Rag & Bone and Rodrate shows in New York Fashion Week.
  4. Blake eyeliner is always in style; however knowing how and where to wear it is key this season, using kohl liner onto the waterline.
  5. The red lip statement is no more, opting instead for rich berry hues, pale pinks and warm blush tones. Making the lips part of the overall look and not as a statement piece.

These are my top 5 Autumn/Winter 2015 Trends, I hope you all enjoy these looks as much is I do this season! Please do comment or like if you do like my post. Stay beautiful always 😉 X.

Top Tip Tuesday

Top Tip Tuesday

Hi Dolls, these are tips that I use on my self and on clients, I hope you find them helpful 😄

  1. Exfoiliate lips once a week, using an old tooth brush with whatever cleanser you would normally use.
  2. Heated eyelash curlers are great for adding lift to the base of the eyelashes once mascara has been applied.
  3. If your going to use dark eyeshadows or do a somkey eyes, try to do eyes first so if any droplets occur it’s easier to wipe away and doesn’t mess up your foundation.
  4. Lip liner is my best friend, I find it sharpens the appearance of the lips and using it as base keeps your lipstick on for longer.
  5. Applying individual lashes after mascara helps sit better into the natural lashes.

Hope you guys find these tips as useful as I do, please do comment! Stay beautiful Dolls. 😘

The benefits you receive from facials…

The benefits you receive from facials…

Hi Beauties, 😃

This coming week I will be practiccing facial techniques on my peers, so excited! Will keep you posted! Still in the process to get my kit, as you know things like that requires money! Especially when you want quality for your clients. However today’s post will try to keep the details short and sweet, so you ladies know the benefits your skin receives when getting facials.

Cleanser- It doesn’t only remove dirt and make up on your skin, but it nourishes and re-hydrates the skin.

Exfoliator/Face Scrub- Brightens skin and gives you a more even skin tone, leaving it smooth.

Warming the skin with Steamer/Towels- This allows products to penetrate in the deeper layers of the skin, as it relaxes pores for extraction. With the steamer the treatment is more beneficial to the skin because the products and the client have greater benefits.

Massage- Is obviously relaxing for the client, it improves circulation and the fresh nutrients are distributed to  the skin cells to promote healthy cells.

Face Mask- Rehydrates, purify and removes impurities from the skin. This kind of deep cleanse adds moisture and can help to dry out oily skin, can also help to soothe.

Toner- Leaves skin refreshed and revitalised and re-stores the ph balance of the skin and tightens pores.

Specialised eye cream/serum and face moisturiser-  Moisturising  the eye and face area adds collagen and elastin to the skin, protecting the skin from environmental factors.

So I would recommend you beauty bunnies to get facials every 8weeks max depending on your skin type. Sometimes it’s just nice to pamper your skin when you can, it’s all about healthy skin cells. 😉 X.
