Spring me pretty 2016

Hi Dolls,

Happy New year beauties, wish you all a fabulous year!! Well with Fashion week coming up, which I’m so excited about!!! I have been doing some research on the expected beauty trends for spring/summer 2016. So i will be keeping this short and sweet!

So far what I’ve seen on the catwalk is doll look lashes from the 60s was seen on the Marni and Louis Vuitton show, graphic liners and still trending hard is the red lipstick… doubt this will ever go out of style!! At the Celine show, berry and purple lip stick at Mui Mui. Bright eyeshadows the blues, turquoise and yellows were spotted in the Missoni, Chanel and Alexis Mabille.  Defined brows, highlighted skin and subtle lips is still going strong was seen in Balmain, Roberto Cavalli and Bottega Veneta.

  1. Graphic liner
  2. Red lips
  3. Berry and Purples lip stick
  4. Bright eyeshadows
  5. Defined brows
  6. Glowing skin
  7. plump subtle lips
  8. Exaggerated lashes
  9. Edgy  Girl (kohl eyeliner inside the water line of your eyes)
  10. Faux Freckles

My favourite trend has to be the ‘faux freckles’, they looked beautiful at the Emanuel Ungaro, I have an obsession with freckles love them, I actually did faux freckles look for one of my assignments before i even knew that it was a trend to look out for!

I used  Motives Cosmetics brown kohl pencil to create the freckles and set it using Motives luminous powder. Defined her brows using Sleek brow gel and Motives Brow compact.

New Season 2015 Make Up Trends

Hi Beauties :-),

Well summer is nearly over the fresh-faced beauty and loose waves, had a good run! It is time for the new season, the make up trends for autumn and winter has a grown up take. The lip gloss is back and the make up move towards more luxurious, expensive looks. It’s no secret that autumn is my favourite season, the sweaters, long coats and the colour of the leaves changing. Therefore I thought id post a few of my favourite trends for the new season.

  1. The sophisticated look focuses on perfected skin, slightly rosy cheeks and subtle shading combined to create a rich groomed appearance.
  2. Lashes create that clean blunt look, layering mascara to create doll like eyes. My favourite so far.
  3. The return of the lip gloss, high shine pouts were spotted on models in Fendi, Rag & Bone and Rodrate shows in New York Fashion Week.
  4. Blake eyeliner is always in style; however knowing how and where to wear it is key this season, using kohl liner onto the waterline.
  5. The red lip statement is no more, opting instead for rich berry hues, pale pinks and warm blush tones. Making the lips part of the overall look and not as a statement piece.

These are my top 5 Autumn/Winter 2015 Trends, I hope you all enjoy these looks as much is I do this season! Please do comment or like if you do like my post. Stay beautiful always 😉 X.

#BalmainArmy, Olivier Rousteing

Hey Ladies, 🙂

It has been a while; hope you all had a lovely weekend, this blog today is related to my Paris Fashion Week AW15 favourite shows series. It’s all about the Balmain Army, the London boutique, the celebrity friends, Olivier Rousteing is officially the most followed French designer, with 1 million followers on Instagram and one of the headline speakers at The Vogue Festival this April! Looking forward to attend, tickets are still available.

The quote comes from an interview on Vogue.co.uk on the 16 of March 2015 by Lauren Milligan, where he describes to her, what it is to be the ‘Blamain Army’.

“It’s not about age, it’s not about colour, it’s not about countries – it’s about a confident woman who wants to feel strong. We dress different cultures and ethnicities – Asian, American, European, and South American – wherever you come from; you are part of the Balmain Army. You just have to be confident and you need to be strong, that’s what I love about the power woman, the Nineties supermodel. I feel like I am dressing the personality of a woman, a woman who doesn’t hide. Some people call it flamboyant, but a woman who is going to wear Balmain is a warrior. The women I dress are powerful, they are strong, and they are women who are going to change the world. These are the women I want to have around me. When you wear Balmain you adopt a vision and a strength, you’re not just going to wear clothes for the clothes.”

Here are some on my favourite items from the Paris AW15 Show. With the boutique opening in London on South Audley Street, Balmain is already in Harrods and Selfridges. However Balmain is not a follower, it is about bringing new vision, having international clients, it makes sense for the boutique to open in London, as the city has a very strong international point of view, according to Rousteing.

The AW15 show in Paris, focus on proportion asserted itself in wide flares in fine, high-shimmer fabric, pin-tucked, palettes to accentuate the perkiest of derrières, which were divine; vintage undertones ran deep here – the flowing chiffon jumpsuits, printed with popping floral and finished with a ruffled décolletage.

#BalmainArmy

I’m pretty eager to see and hear Olivier Rousteing talking with Alexa Chung on the 25th of April 15 at the Vogue Festival in London get your tickets!

#BlamainArmy. Happy Monday Ladies, 😉 X.

My favourite show reports in Paris Fashion Week, Autumn/Winter15-16

My favourite show reports in Paris Fashion Week, Autumn/Winter15-16

For a start Fashion Week has been absolutely amazing, fashion all around, New York, London, Milan and Paris the Fashion capitals. Will do a show report series for the rest of the Fashion Capitals. So my favourites in #PFW, were Stella McCartney, Saint Laurent, Balmain and Chanel.

But todays post is all about one of my favourite British Designers.

 Stella McCartney

“Being effortless is the coolest thing in the world”. Quoted by Stella McCartney.

Stella is a designer that knows and understands who she is dressing, the requirements of daily life and how to join that with fashion guidelines – she’ll have something bold but not over the top but keeps it stylish. Her silhouettes were simple to wear, breezy for shirts’ and structured for the office wardrobe.

This is something she’s known for, she is a designer great at ticking boxes: her collection, had a touch of masculinity meets feminine; the classic tailored trouser suit, elongated turn-ups on flared legs, with corsets built into tailoring and lovely solid Manish coats, empire lines and the super luxe knitted sweaters, were off the shoulder in rich bottle green, there were dress versions of them too: there were tea dresses dressed down with ribbed polo necks beneath. I think Stella’s collection AW15-16 will satisfy her clients for sure.

She posted up a picture backstage after the show, celebrating with her father Paul McCartney and Kanye West, looking very happy with her collection on her Instagram page.

Will keep you posted, for the rest of my favourite, designers show reports! Who were your favourites? Happy Friday X
