Beautifying Oils

Hi Dolls,

I hope you all well?

I’m slowly getting back on track with my blog schedule, I’m very thankful for my readers.

So as a beauty blogger I get excited about buying so many beauty related products including skin care, make up, hair care and nail products! Therefore, today’s post is going to be about some great hair care products I’ve been using. YAY!

I currently have my natural hair out, no weave for about 3months now! I like doing that so my hair can breathe, plus it’s what I call responsible weaving…Lol!

My first ever job was in a hairdresser on Westbourne Groove in London, where I discovered Kerastese, by L’Oreal. Using the products on myself and on clients in the past, has given me the opportunity to really understand what each product does and what range should be used for different hair types. I’m a fan of Kerastese, I’ve recently been using the ‘Elixir Ultime’ range, my hair is thick and dry so this range is great for me, because each product is infused with different beautifying oils and it is for all thick hair types. So here is my list of products I use on my hair in the exact order I’d normally use it!

Metamorph’ oil Preparatory oil balm has a gel-like texture, which turns milky when water is applied. So I normally apply this on dry hair, combs through it and then add a little water before massaging till it lathers, then I rinse it out.

Shampoo – packed with a unique combination of coriander, coconut and Shea butter oils.

Beautifying oils (corn germ, camellia, argan and pracaxi oils) masque, is for all hair types! It’s a treatment, so I apply it from roots to ends and leave it in for 5 to 10 minutes in a shower cap. I then use my hair dryer to heat it up for a deep conditioning treatment.

Fluidissime – complete anti-frizz care and heat protection.

Solid serum with 15 beautifying oils – I use this to polish my blow dry.

I hope you dolls enjoyed this post, looking forward to see your favourite products. Please feel to comment or ask questions.

Stay beautiful inside and out. X

Hi Dolls,

Happy New year beauties, wish you all a fabulous year!! Well with Fashion week coming up, which I’m so excited about!!! I have been doing some research on the expected beauty trends for spring/summer 2016. So i will be keeping this short and sweet!

At the Celine show, berry and purple lip stick at Mui Mui. Bright eyeshadows the blues, turquoise and yellows were spotted in the Missoni, Chanel and Alexis Mabille.  Defined brows, highlighted skin and subtle lips is still going strong was seen in Balmain, Roberto Cavalli and Bottega Veneta.

  1. Graphic liner
  2. Red lips
  3. Berry and Purples lip stick
  4. Bright eyeshadows
  5. Defined brows
  6. Glowing skin
  7. plump subtle lips
  8. Exaggerated lashes
  9. Edgy  Girl (kohl eyeliner inside the water line of your eyes)
  10. Faux Freckles

My favourite trend has to be the ‘faux freckles’, they looked beautiful at the Emanuel Ungaro, I have an obsession with freckles love them, I actually did faux freckles look for one of my assignments before i even knew that it was a trend to look out for!

I used  Motives Cosmetics brown kohl pencil to create the freckles and set it using Motives luminous powder. Defined her brows using Sleek brow gel and Motives Brow compact.

Summer Problem 2; Bikini Line Up Keep

Hi Dolls, 🙂

Holiday/Summer season is here; the bikini area is exposed whether you opt for a one-piece or two piece. So that necessary up keep, can sometimes have the irritating side effects such as INGROWN hairs and the general painful wax! I have gathered some tips that usually work for me. Shaving with a sharp blade, every other day and using a calming gel like aloe-vera or the Aveeno’s oatmeal-based gel. Also what helps wriggle out those irritating ingrown hairs, is using a salicylic acid scrub, can be found in some face wash, make sure when using it around that area it’s for sensitive skin, or topical antibiotic like Evoclin foam. For those whom prefer waxing without the sting, try the BareEase & Cream Prep Kit; I have not tried that one out yet! Plan to. I hope you Beauties are enjoying my Summer series, stay tuned and please feel free to comment or ask questions. Stay FABULOUS, 😉 X.

Hi Guys and Dolls, 🙂

I’m sorry that I have been MIA lately, still trying to find a balance and making time for my blog, beauty training and launching my Unfranchiased business. The beauty school (LCBT) has 15 units to cover that have taken most of time studying/practice; I really love it! So far I’ve covered day, night and occasion make up, body art, French plait, fish plait and facial techniques, which I’m pretty confident in, plus practice, makes perfect! There still so much more to learn and I cannot wait, also I do not want to bore you with all the terms so will show you the stuff that I’ve covered so far. I will make sure to carry on posting as often as I used to and hope you beauties are still enjoying my blog!

Khloe Kardashian inspired this occasion make up I did for Ana she was going to a wedding! Keeping the Smokey eye very minimal, using browns and 3 different shades of gold, with eyeliner top and bottom, double lashes and bright red lipstick, cheek contour and blush to finish off the look. Hair Styled using Halo Extensions, her hair is in a bob! So I went for half up hairstyle with loose curls.

Body Art Hand Animals, zebras and a swan guess which ones mine…The Toucan. Body Art Robot Leg, that was my first attempt!

My professional facial set up! Also my first attempt doing a fish plait, first I practice on the doll and then plaited on Katie.

There will be a lot more posts in greater detail on how to and I’m so thankful for my lovely followers that have joined me on this wonderful journey, also I hope to gain many more new followers. Please do feel free to comment or ask questions, always happy to hear from all you Guys and Dolls ;-). X

Nourished For #SS15

Nourished For #SS15

Hi Beauties 😃

Hair care is also important! My hair tends to be dry, especially during season changes and all the daily elements my hair goes through. So I would like to share my hair treatments with you all. I use the Kérastase Nutritive Hair treatment, once every two months or once a month depending on the state of my hair. The beauty about Kérastase is they cater for every hair type and needs.

  1. The Bain Satin 2 Shampoo, apply the shampoo twice, then rinse.
  2. Towel dry the hair, section the hair in four. Then apply the Aqua-Oleum treatment with the spray, starting from the tip of the hair to the scalp.
  3. Comb through and apply the Masquintense only on the tips, then cover with a shower cap. Leave the treatment on for an hour, but if you at the hairdressers they will normally put you under a steamer for 30 mins.

After you rinse out the treatment, sometimes you forget to protect your hair from heating appliances, such as a hair dryer. Therefore I use Sassoon Heat Shape spray and the Kérastase Elixir after towel drying my hair. Style as desired and you left with beautiful nourished, shiny hair.

Enjoy your day beauties, check out a Salon where they sell the Kérastase products, they will guide you to the right products for your hair needs! Happy days 😉 X

I will share everything that I’ve learned with you all, skin care treatments, lashes treatments, make up tips, and will be posting tutorials of how-to’s on my YouTube channel. Which I will put the link up as soon as possible, and please feel free to contact me if you queries about everything and anything on beauty! Can not wait to start sharing with you all!!!

#SS15 Hair Trends

Hey Beautiful Ladies, I have just realised I haven’t posted about the Spring Summer 15 hair trend, so I’ve picked a few that I have seen around the Fashion Week season and the ones I like! Hope you guys will like them too. 😉

Hair #SS15

The wet-look Trend, the high-shine hair was everywhere, Zac Posen take on the trend with slick-sides a masculine touch, also had finger combed quiffs and a bold red lip, courtesy of Mac’s lip mix, to finish of the look.

The Low Ponytail Trend, was worn slick but crimped…YES crimped at Stella McCartney, sporty at Alexander Wang and the wet-look at Prada. Whatever styles you wear your ponytail this spring; sleek at the front and bold at the back, also just wear it low at the nape of your neck.

Braids Trend, more beautiful braids were seen at the Marissa Webb show, was a multi-look braids created by the TRESemme team. However you wish to braid your hair it doesn’t matter, it is in season!

Woodstock trend, the 70s festival vibe look, were on show at Emilio Pucci, Anna Sui and Tommy Hilfiger Woodstock waves, loose waves, plait your hair to get the waves add serum and hair spray, crunch it up so it doesn’t look too polished.

The Fat top-knots trend, was seen at Nanette Lepore simple and stylish, Maybelline’s 60s make up – graphic white eyeliner and top-to-bottom lashes. Loving this look!

Changing hairstyles this season wont be an issue, you have plenty styles to choose from! Happy Spring 🙂 X.
