Complementary Colours

Hi Beauties, 🙂 This week was my second week at London College of Beauty Therapy (LCBT), I didn’t want to bore you all with the usual induction day stuff. Getting my uniform, ID badge, finding my way around the college and  ice breakers with my lecturers and peers, and what student services are available to me. However I’m super excited and happy with the 15 units I will be covering during the course and the fact that my two lecturers, Bradley Smith covers the beauty and Catorina Mcfaul covers the hair and photographic make up. It’s pretty awesome to have both lecturers, also working as freelancers. Therefore this makes the teaching more practical, so I’m going to try to keep this post short. This week we got to learn about, the right shade of eye shadows that complements your eye colour, also what benefits we gain from facials. However, today’s post will concentrate on complementary colours for your eye colour. DauphineDiaries Newsletter Sign Up Form

Complementary colours are opposite each other on a colour wheel.

Colour-Wheel

The colour theory and wheel allows you to coordinate your make up. Also the tone and depth of the colours depend on skin tone and eye colour. Have fun with trying out different colours that suits you. Please do let me know if you would like me to cover a topic in more detail.

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend 😉 X
